On October 26, 2017, over 200 guests arrived at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead, for an evening of elegance, art, and entertainment. At Collectors Evening, supporters had the opportunity to make their mark on the High Museum’s collection by voting for their favorite works of art.
How does Collectors Evening work?
Each curator proposes an artwork to add to the collection, and it is up to our Collectors Evening attendees to decide which works make the cut. As they try to win over the hearts and votes of the audience, the curators bring along their artworks, proposal videos, and a healthy dose of competition.
The votes are in, and we are excited to say that, thanks to our generous supporters, we raised a record amount of funds and acquired three incredible objects for the collection! See the winning selections below.
