Visual Literacy Project

The High Museum of Art collaborated with the Georgia Department of Education’s Advanced Placement and English Language Arts departments to create a series of videos for teachers to use to implement visual literacy strategies in the classroom.

The first video in this series is an introduction to the Visual Literacy Project with Kate McLeod, Head of School and Teacher Services at the High Museum of Art, and Stephanie Sanders, Program Manager of English Language Arts for the Georgia Department of Education. The second introductory video provides a definition of visual literacy by Kelley York, Professional Learning Specialist for Metro RESA.
