Talks and Tours,

First-time visitors and regular museumgoers alike can gain fresh perspectives on art from expert talks, guided tours, and more.
Classes,

The High offers special class series throughout the year for youth and adults. Learn techniques from local artists. Join Museum Education Staff for discussions concentrating on special exhibitions and the High’s permanent collection as you explore the galleries.
School Break Programs,

Combat school break boredom with a healthy dose of art and creativity! The High has drop-in art making workshops for your family to get involved.

Recurring Programs

Toddler Thursdays,

Designed for children ages fifteen months through three years with their caregivers, Toddler Thursdays engage children’s creativity and incorporate monthly themes with related artwork, art-making activities, stories, and tours.
HIGH Frequency Fridays,

First Fridays have something for everyone! On the first Friday of every month from 6 to 9 p.m., you can count on the High for drop-in art making with Indie Craft Experience, live performances by Atlanta area artists, gallery talks, drinks for purchase, and more. Did we mention all programming is free with Museum admission?
Second Sundays,

On the second Sunday of each month, the High Museum offers FREE ADMISSION for all visitors and family programming from 1 to 4 p.m. Enjoy art-making activities, tours, performances, and the High’s permanent collection and special exhibitions.
Friday Jazz,

Mark your calendar for live jazz in the High’s atrium on the third Friday of every month, hosted by Jamal Ahmad from Jazz 91.9 WCLK, Atlanta’s jazz station! Music, drinks, art—no matter the month, every Friday Jazz offers a great lineup featuring different styles of jazz, from straight ahead to free jazz, bebop to swing, and more.
Conversation Pieces,

Join professional museum educators each month in looking closely at artworks in the Museum’s collection: one work, thirty minutes, deep conversations and discoveries.
Drink and Draw,

Join us the third Friday of every month from 6-9pm during Friday Jazz! Drop in and sketch live, clothed models in our galleries. All ranges of drawing experience are welcome, including guests who are picking up a sketchbook for the first time.
Musing Together,

Musing Together is a monthly tour program that serves groups of visitors in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia, along with their care partners.
Teen Night,

Make art with Atlanta artists in hands-on workshops, listen to live performances, explore the galleries on a scavenger hunt, capture the moment in a photo booth, participate in a poetry slam, and more. The High transforms for a night just for teens by teens.
Baby Book Club,

The more you talk, the more they learn! The High Museum of Art is the perfect place to start a conversation with your baby.
Toddler Tours,

Toddler Tours are physically interactive, twenty-minute educational experiences for young children.
