Social Justice

The art of protest takes many shapes and forms. The High Museum holds a small but outstanding historical collection of paintings, sculptures, drawings, and prints that shine the light on pressing social and political issuesworking conditions, poverty, race, and war. These holdings span over 150 years and complement the Museum’s other collecting areas, including extraordinary strengths in civil rights photography.
