Event Description

Planning to attend the curator talk on Thursday, May 26? Join us before the talk for a members-only happy hour in the Robinson Atrium, plus exclusive access to the High’s American Art and Decorative Arts and Design galleries.

Then hear from the High’s chief curator, Kevin W. Tucker, as he explores the designs of Frank Lloyd Wright.  Set in the context of Wright’s quest to a create a modern American architecture, the presentation will reveal how nature and regional identity shaped his reimagining of Southern and historic motifs.

Preregistration for Happy Hour is not required; however, we recommend that you register for the 7 p.m. curator talk in advance as seating is limited.

Questions? Please call Member Services at 404-733-4575 (Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.).
