Reserve your spot for the annual Gudmund Vigtel Works on Paper Program. Hear from Nelda Damiano, the Pierre Daura Curator of European Art at the Georgia Museum of Art, as she explores how drawings have changed from working tools for artists to revered and collected objects.
Damiano was Associate Curator at the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens in Jacksonville, Florida, and previously worked at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, Ontario. She received her doctoral degree in art history from McGill University in Montreal and obtained a master’s in museum studies and a bachelor’s in French literature and art history from the University of Montreal.
A Canadian citizen, Damiano is fluent in French, English, and Italian. She considers herself a works on paper scholar first and foremost.
