Event Description

Experience David Driskell: Icons of Nature and History, a comprehensive survey exploring seven decades of the artist’s painterly practice. Members see it first and free! Please join us on February 5, 2021, to experience this new exhibition before it opens to the public.

David Driskell (1931-2020) was one of the most revered American artists of his generation, long recognized for his vibrant and versatile painting and printmaking practices. His work combines keen observations of the American landscape with the imagery of the African diaspora. Learn more about this special exhibition.
